Eating 10: From the liver to the heart

The oxygen-depleted blood containing THC metabolites and some remaining THC molecules collects in the hepatic vein. It then flows back to the heart. The heart pumps it to the lungs, where it absorbs new oxygen. When it returns to the heart, it is again pumped via the aorta to the rest of the body.
