Smoking 2: Smoking cannabis (2)

Cannabis has several active components. The most important substance is tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). Generally speaking, hash has higher THC concentrations than marijuana. Hash oil is even stronger.

When cannabis is lit, THC is released into the smoke. You inhale the smoke, and it enters your lungs. A substantial part of the THC is destroyed by the combustion, amounting to a loss of 25 to 50 percent.
