Inject 1: Injecting speed

Injection (shooting up) is not a common mode of ingestion for recreational users of speed (amphetamine). Before amphetamine can be injected, it must be dissolved in water. It is very important to dissolve it completely to avoid injecting small chunks of the drug. These could block small blood vessels and trigger a heart attack or stroke.
