Oral 14: Amphetamine in the brain

Neurons, the cells of the brain, communicate with one another by releasing chemical messengers known as neurotransmitters. Amphetamine molecules intensify the communication between neurons that work with the neurotransmitters noradrenaline and dopamine. This process alters the activity in certain parts of the brain.
