Snorting 14: From the liver to the heart

The oxygen-depleted blood containing the molecules and metabolites of amphetamine collects in the hepatic vein and flows back to the heart. The heart pumps the blood to the lungs to pick up oxygen. When the oxygen-rich blood returns, it is pumped on to the rest of the body via the aorta.
