Snorting 11: From the brain to the heart

The blood has now released oxygen into the brain cells and has absorbed carbon dioxide. Gradually, it will also transport the amphetamine molecules from the brain back to the heart.

The heart will first pump the blood containing the amphetamine molecules through the pulmonary circulation to receive new oxygen. When it comes back to the heart, it contains enough oxygen to be pumped on to the rest of the body via the aorta.
