Snorting 6: From the heart to the brain

Some of the oxygen-rich blood containing cocaine molecules now flows to the brain.

When you snort cocaine, it takes about 2 to 3 minutes to feel the effects. The cocaine molecules arrive in the brain more gradually than when cocaine is injected or freebased (smoked). So snorting cocaine does not give you a powerful ‘rush’, but a gradually intensifying effect.
