Snorting 5: From the nose to the heart

The blood from the nasal mucous membranes is conducted first to the heart. It cannot go straight from the nose to the brain, because it is not oxygenated. The heart must therefore first pump it through the lungs to receive oxygen. When it returns to the heart, it is pumped via the aorta throughout the body.
