General 8: From the liver to the heart

The oxygen-depleted blood containing the cocaine molecules and metabolites now collects in the hepatic vein and flows back to the heart. The heart pumps it on to the lungs to absorb oxygen. When it comes back to the heart, it will be pumped to the rest of the body via the aorta.
